NSS Department

Shriram Kala Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Dhamangaon Rly's NSS department is one of the active departments from the beginning of the college. It tries to develop all over personalities of the students which are hidden in their heart and mind. It provides the platform to such students who have inner sprout of service to man is service to nation, clean the tears of the suffering human beings, protect the environment, water harvesting, provides the guidelines to the unknown people about the addictions, create integrity among the society, and to reach in the society with message of Dashasutri of Sant Gadge Baba who is the real incarnation of the Humanity. It helps the student's social sprout to vat trees by watering and them the teaching of the NSS.

The NSS Department of Shriram Kala Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Dhamangaon Rly is a recognized department of Sant Gadge Baba, Amravati, University, Amravati of 150 voluntaries unit of NSS. It runs various programs like tree plantations, Cleanness drive, personality development ,Clean India Movement, Birth Anniversaries of the Great Leaders, death Anniversary of the same leaders, save trees, Workshops on Women's Empowerment, Women's Hygienic Workshops, Competitive Guidelines, Voter Awareness Programs, Voter's Registration Camp ,Eco- friendly Teaching and Money Literacy camps and so many .

The college adopted the village Gavhani-Pani from the session 2016-17,2017-18 and 2018,19 to arrange the Special Camp of seven days in which 75 voluntaries take an active part. It arranges Yoga, Praying, Exercise, Disciplines, etc.Prof.Abhijeet Doad is the program officer and Dr. Monali Ingale is a Sub-program officer.

Objectives:

To create such citizens for the Nation with the feelings of national integrity.
To develop all over personalities by participating in various activities along with villagers.
To make them aware of the importance of physical work.
To make them punctual.
To create eco-friendly relationships.
