English Department

All the departments of the college are the soul of the college but the English department is the Supreme Soul of the college. It plays various roles all over the development of the college. It has two well-qualified, experienced faculties who tries to develop the four basic skills among the students of the rural area by performing various activities like presentation, projects, group discussion, online test on (TESTMOZ) common test and ‘Learn First, Reach One and Teach One practicum. The department arranges co-curricular activities for the skills development among the students.

The English department faculty has created his sites on the Google Sites on which he published his profile, online (MCQ) tests on the tesmoz.com., research papers, e-learning classes, powerpoint presentations common test exam papers and WhatsApp groups for the literature students in order to provide the link of some videos, notes to make their teaching and learning methods everlasting and permanent which will remain treasures for the next generations.

English department runs an English Literature course in the college. The aim of the college is to provides world’s classical literature and recent literature knowledge for the quest of the students, in the forms of poetry, dramas, novels, short stories, one-act plays, literary terms, and literary theories.

The Department tries to teach the students core values, environmental sensibilities, ethics, gender discrimination issues, through the prescribed syllabus of the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
