Political Science Department

        The Department of Political Science is a useful subject for the competitive exams and make the students practicably liable to understand the political theories as well as make them competence to analysis of the political issues of the local level, national level and international level. It was established from the opening of the college. It has permanant faculty from 13th February 2007. Now the department has well qualified faculty who has published research papers in the state, national and international level conferences and is working hard for the overall development of the students by performing different curriculum and co-curriculum activities.

Facilities:

• The faculty provided printed materials and current newspapers cuttings to the comprehension of the students.

• It arranges various co-curriculum activities such as the debate on current political issues, college-level conferences, visit Nagar Parishad and tours.

• Organizes a Study Forum .

• It provides the facilities of NET/SET exams for the alumnae.

• It celebrates ‘Constitutional Day’ 0n 26th November and arranges a lecture on the basic articles of the constitution.

• It creates the awareness of the human rights and rights and duties of the citizens.

        In short, it is related to the political situation in India as well as the world so it is an international level subject and department.
